Since 1999, The Margaret T. Morris Center, Northern Arizona’s only assisted living community dedicated solely to dementia care has served hundreds of people and their families living with Alzheimer’s disease, other forms of dementia, mild cognitive impairment, and memory loss. We are our local community's leader in providing expert dementia care and one of Arizona’s oldest dementia care specialty programs. We take pride in our unparalleled care and programming, unique building design, nonprofit management status, longevity in the community, and the longevity of our staff.

Healthcare Services

We provide excellent healthcare for each resident. Our medical team is made up of Medical Director Dr. Kara Johnson who makes rounds twice per week and is on-call 24/7. She supports our philosophy of the least amount of medication possible to support the best quality of life.

Our Director of Nursing Amber McCabe, MSN, RN, MSL has a dual master’s in nursing and leadership with a sole background in seniors, dementia, and hospice care. Amber works full-time and takes call 24/7. Amber will manage your loved one’s day-to-day well-being in coordination with Medical Director Dr. Kara Johnson.

Our caregivers are certified through the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Managers in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Health Services.
